Mt. Makiling, Botanical Garden Get a Boost

Isuzu Philippines goes into eco-friendly mode for its 13th anniversary by launching its Adopt-A-Forest Project in 13 hectares of the fabled Mt. Makiling. This area of the forest will be planted with 13 tree species in the span of three years.

Sightings at the Bañamos Civic Parade
The Bañamos Festival 2010 started out with an amazing display of sights and sounds. The Bañamos Civic Parade was a triumph in planning, organization and coordination, as many organizations and businesses in Los Baños participated in full costume, parade gimmicks and engaging dance moves. Many of Los Baños' neighbor municipalities also participated in the festivities, adding to the general fun and merry-making.

The Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA) is a public, secular, non-profit school established in June 11, 1977 through Presidential Decree (PD) 1287. The Department of Education implements its programs together with the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Bañamos Festival 2010
Los Baños is gearing up for the Annual Bañamos Festival. The town famous for its hot spring baths celebrates its founding anniversary with a street dancing competition (Bayle sa Kalye), the Bailamos dance competition, a band competition (Himigsikan), a civic parade with Giant Paper Mache Floats, a beauty pageant, an adventure race at the foothills of the mystical Mount Makiling and general revelry and merry-making.
